Allegiance Benefit Plan Management, Inc. (formerly Intermountain Administrators) was founded by President and CEO, Dirk Visser in 1981. Allegiance COBRA Services, Inc. was formed on December 12, 2003 and is a sister company of Allegiance Benefit Plan Management, Inc. (ABPMI). ABPMI has been providing COBRA administration since 1989.

FAQ
It depends on the Qualifying Event.
Continuation is available for up to 18 months for loss of coverage due to employment termination, reduction of hours or retirement of the employee, up to 36 months for loss of coverage due to death of the Participant, divorce or legal separation from the Participant or dependents who are no longer eligible dependents as defined by the plan. Up to 29 months if, within 60 days of the Qualifying Event (termination of employment or reduction of hours) the employee or any of the employee’s dependents who are Qualified Beneficiaries are or become disabled as defined under the Social Security Act and provide a copy of the determination of disability letter from the Social Security Administration to the Employer within 60 days of such determination.
