Tier 1 is composed of both the Prisma Health Midlands Network and the Prisma Health Upstate Network clinically integrated networks, which together include over 3,900 employed and independent hospitals and healthcare providers across 17 counties in the upstate and midlands regions of South Carolina. The combined networks’ large geographic footprint provides the ability to manage large patient populations, offering greater access to care and choice of providers.

Behavioral health coverage is provided by Prisma Health Midlands Network, Prisma Health Upstate Network and CIGNA Behavioral Health. Tier 2: The Cigna Open Access Plus (OAP) Network includes physicians, hospitals and other healthcare providers throughout the United States. By using the Cigna OAP Network, you will be required to pay a higher deductible and out-of-pocket cost than if you were to use a Prisma Health Midlands Network provider. Tier 3: A choice to use an out-of-network provider is available, but you will be required to pay a higher deductible and out-of-pocket than Tier 2 with no limit on out-of-pocket expenses.
